Callum is one of Australasia’s leading pipe band musicians and has a vigorous passion for drums. An open-class snare, bass and tenor drummer, Callum is the lead drummer of the grade three Ipswich Thistle Pipe Band, and the mid-section tutor and snare drummer with the grade one New Zealand Police Pipe Band.

Educated and trained in music theory, percussion and performance at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University, Callum combines formal musical training and over twenty years practical experience into delivering high-quality personalised services to pipe band drummers and drum corps.

Callum holds the Advanced Certificate in Drumming from the APBC, and is an accredited national drumming adjudicator with Pipe Bands Australia - in fact, he was the youngest ever to join the adjudication panel. Currently serving as the Vice Principal of Drumming for Queensland, Callum actively promotes drumming across the state.

Callum is a professional Japanese interpreter and translator.
